Homage is a collaborative project created by Gary Johns and noted photographer Greg Gorman. Johns reInterpreted Gorman's classic photographs of African sculptures in a contemporary and provocative fashion. This project honors the influence African art has on American and European cultures and pays homage to Africa's enormous and continuing influence on modern art.
